LET’S GET JAMMING!
Calling all jam makers! Do you love to make jam? If so, this contest is for you! Pelham Summerfest is launching its first ever jam contest! In partnership with Fenwick Berry Farm
Fill out the application below and bring it with you along with TWO JARS of your original jam to the info desk at the Meridian Community Centre, 100 Meridian Way, Fonthill.

All entrants must provide their own, original jam recipe as well as a photo of the prepared jam. You can only enter the contest once.
Contest opens: Monday, June 12, 2023
Contest closes: Friday, July 7, 2023
Selection of finalists: All entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Fenwick Berry Farm based on the following criteria:
- Taste (25%);
- Ingredients (Pelham grown produce is preferred) (25%);
- Presentation (25%); and
- Consistency and texture (25%)
Each judge will score a numerical value between 1 and 5 for each jam. The jam with the highest score wins.
The entrants whose recipes are selected for the final judging event will be notified by July 10, 2023.
The winner will be announced on the main stage on Friday, July 14 at 4:30pm by our judges from the Fenwick Berry Farm!
The winner will also receive a mixed basket of farm fresh produce, a t-shirt and water bottle plus be featured in Pelham Today!
