Pelham’s signature event starts this coming Thursday with the Farmer’s
Market, Supper Market, Summerfest Beer & Wine Garden and the concert in
the Band Shell with The Intentions! Come enjoy Summerfest in Peace Park
starting at 4 pm. Concert starts at 7pm.
Friday, Pelham Street is closed from Highway 20 to Church Hill for the
street festival. It’s Country Night featuring great old and new country
entertainers and line dancing in the street, so grab your cowboy hat and
boots and come on down. There’s also food and retail vendors, patios on
the street and the Summerfest Beer & Wine Garden under the Arches.
Everything kicks off at 4 pm.
Saturday, Summerfest kicks into high gear with the continuation of the
street festival on Pelham Street from 10 am to midnight. Check out
favourite local entertainers and a few new faces on the main stage and,
just added for 2018, on busker stages at each end of the festival. Plus
all the shopping and eating opportunities you could wish for. The Kids
Zone is hopping and bouncing in Peace Park from 10 am to 6 pm. You will
find great entertainment geared to our younger Summerfesties with clowns
& magicians, furred and scaled critters, puppets and more! Later on, the
Park transforms into the Teen Chill Zone from 7 pm to 11pm with the
Adrenaline Rush Obstacle Course, The Gaming RV and Foto Hub, Mission
Possible Escape Room and free wifi. Things are rocking on the main stage
with The Associates joining us once again to close out the party!
Sunday we dial it back a bit and start out the day at 9 am with Breakfast
in Peace Park, an awesome Car Show, retail and food vendors and Kids Zone
activities and entertainment. Sit back and sip a beverage in the
Beverage Garden while listening to live blues music until 4 pm.
There’s so much going on at Pelham Summerfest, we can’t possibly capture
it all in one story, so check out the website at www.pelhamsummerfest.ca
or download our app and you can get all the details of our FOUR DAYS OF
FREE FAMILY FUN!
Hope you’re excited, we sure are – can’t wait to see everyone “Chill on
the Hill” this weekend!
